Mudita Rastogi, Ph.D. is Professor at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Argosy Univ. Schaumburg, Illinios, USA. She obtained her PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Tech University, Master's degree in Psychology from Bombay University. Dr Rastogi is editor of "Voices of Color" (2005, Sage). She is also Associate Editor for Journal of Marital and Family Therapy and is in private practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Leena Banerjee, Ph.D. is Professor of Clinical Psychology at Alliant International University's California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. She trains future clinicians and contributes to community mental health program creation & development. Her scholarly writings are in the fields of multicultural psychology, family therapy and infant mental health/early intervention. Her forthcoming book-Circles of Experience: dyads, families and cultures in infant mental health will integrate over 20 years of work in the field.
Nithyakala Karuppaswami, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor, Dept. of Human Development Counseling, at the University of Illinois at Springfield. She teaches students at master's level. Dr. Karuppaswami is a Ph.D. from Purdue University in Child Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. Earlier, she was teaching in Mother Teresa Women University, and has over eight years of experience as counseling psychologist and addiction counselor in Chennai.
Bindu Prasad, Ph.D. clinical psychologist and special educator, is MA in Clinical Psychology and PhD in Special education from Boston University. Dr. Prasad is a consultant to Sardar Patel Vidyalaya and to Action for Ability Development and Inclusion (formerly SSNI) and conducts private practice at her clinic in Alaknanda. She established the Child Guidance Clinic at Jamia in 1983, which initiated community-based services. She has presented academic papers and conducted workshops on learning disabilities & family therapy in India, USA, Norway, Finland & Israel.
Reena Nath, M Sys Psych. (Tavistock UK), is a family therapist practicing in Delhi. Her areas of interest are systemic psychotherapy, psychoanalytical family therapy, cross-cultural work, multi-generational family therapy, and child-focused interventions. Reena Nath is a qualified trainer of systemic family therapy. She is an issue editor for the Contemporary Family Therapy, an International Journal , September 2005, on 'Treating Indian Families in India and around the World'.
Shelja Sen, is a Clinical Psychologist & Family Therapist, MPhil (NIMHANS), Chartered Psychologist (BPS, UK) PGCert (UK). At present she is working with Sitaram Bhartia Instt. of Science & Res. developing their child & adolescent mental heath program. Her work includes training, capacity building and collaborating with schools and NGOs especially in the area of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, differently-abled children, and trauma & disaster management.
